The Atlantic Canada Bio-economy Council is a non-government, non-profit cooperative association that represents the growing bio-products industry within Atlantic Canada.
Since its founding in 2010, ACBC has been the voice for the immense amount of development and advancement of the Atlantic bio-economy . We pour our resources into driving economic development and creating job opportunities while supporting regional contribution to the Canadian clean technology community, which is providing Canadians with a cleaner, greener economy and a steady, sustainable reduction in our carbon emissions.
Our Mission, Our Vision
The Atlantic Canada Bio-economy Council has goals that will stimulate the Atlantic economy and create sustainable jobs for Atlantic citizens. Our mission is to educate and promote the development of a sustainable bio-products industry, and build a healthy bio-industry. Through this, we hope to see our vision come to fruition. We want to see a vibrant, advanced, sustainable bio-industry that produces products from the abundance of resources held in the underappreciated Atlantic provinces.
